With a whole 15 000KM it was time for an oil change. I decided I would do it my self, no major issues. The drain plug was super tight, broke a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter.
I am now running Royal Purple 5W40, was only $8.99 a liter. Feels like a little more power was freed up. Although the roads were a little wet this afternoon.
Anybody have dyno results to prove horse power gains? Other than what you would find on there website.

Assuming RP claims that the horse power increases are accurate, what did they compare this against--conventional motor oil? Are there any gains to switching to RP if you’re already running a synthetic? I would think you would see gain when upgrading from standard motor oil to synthetic, but little if no gain when upgrading to RP from another synthetic.
Just thinking out loud here…
