    Bad Pass - Datalog....

OK so I am up at Etown, I have had some intresting issues this season between NoESP, Small DR's and a new TC I have had a few passes that have caused me some problems. So here I am at Etown a few weeks ago, fist pass of the day.

I have the 26.4 tall DR's on the car same ones I ran last year by pulling fuse 17.

There are two drop hops/burn outs then a stage and launch. I hot about 60ft and the car feels like I am driving on 2 flat tires. I had this happen twice at MIR a week ago so I know nothing is broken but it sure feels broken.

Ok, just a FYI the graph color and the scale colors are not linked. The yellow Graph is Advance ( took to the top ) Light Blue is RPM and the Dark Blue and Pink are knock voltage and red is knock retard. So the knock sensors are using the Yellow scale, the Advance and retard are using the red scale and the RPM is well on the right using the dark blue scale.

    Here are the dashhawk files

I bring the converter up at around 100 seconds in then stage to 2200 rpm and leave almost imediately. I get to the 60ft mark and it goes to crap real fast, I have my foot planted to the floor until the pass was 16.40 if I recall so you can see what weirdness the rpms are doing.

Ick is all I have to say.

16.40? Yeah... but what was the MPH? THAT'S what counts!!

    WOW....

I assume that you didn't get any CELs during that run or you would have mentioned it I am sure... otherwise I would have suggested a limp mode condition.

I really can't see anything (don't have Dashawk, and can't download the PC Software without registering...), but it's really hard to see. The thing that I see (that I am sure you do to) is that your timing is going batsh*t, but you have very little knock retard going on. Gar... didn't get any fuel trim or O2 sensor readings, did you?

Again, it's hard to see, so not much help... but would have been interesting to see the O2 sensor readings, and the TPS reading...

I am somewhat shocked that a run like this would have not thrown a CEL of some sort.

no cels just mr squiggles going ape shat.

Yea I was more intresting in logging timing events the last few times out. I would be willing to bet that it was slamming the tb closed and open given the yo yo effect on the rpms.

Red I think it was ESP/Traction control kicking in from the tire size differnaces from the SRT fronts to the DR backs ( 28.5 vs 26.4 )

There is something the No ESP mod isnt doing as near as I can but the SuperChips is, I think I narrowed it down to the fact that the 9 runs I got I hit the esp button within teh first 8 seconds of start up and that SHOULD cut out most of the esp stuff.

I havent been back to the track, and to be honest I hope that it never comes back :( I hate wasting runs.
