B&G TCM vs Stock TCM Big Difference

Okay Let me start by a little disclaimer of I am not out "trumpeting" B&G TCM

I had put in the B&G TCM as I was heading out to Englishtown and ATCO. I stopped off at HHP and had Josh stick it in and other then a few test runs up and down the street there were nothing else needed prior to hitting the tracks.

    1. Heck of alot more Torque off the line.
    2. It held the shift points longer and I stayed in third gear down the track with 17 inch wheels where with the stock TCM I was shifting into 4th at the end.
    3. Did not hit the rev limiter as quickly in the burnout box
    4. Shifting was firmer down the line.

Following ATCO 2 weekends ago after relaying my experience and what Josh thought and felt about during the initial findings we yanked out B&G TCM and set it back for some "updates" and refinements.

After putting my STOCK TCM back into the car and then going on my way to Capital Raceway my immediate reaction was .... wow there is a noticable difference on the street on how the car shifts and the intial launch.
At the track my feeling were substained that the launch was indeed not the same and even though we had less than desireable track conditions it did not feel as "powerful". At ATCO there were numerous times that the car went sideways upon launch.

I expect to have the B&G TCM back soon and will reinstall it and hopefully will be able to test it out prior to the track season ending down here in VA.

Nice initial feedback. It would be nice to do some sameday comparisons. Alot of the "feel" stuff is just hard to justify $1200.

Your right Dan If I would have thought about it... The Stock TCM was piggiedbacked and tiewrapped along with the B&G. All we had to do was flip it out.

Nice feedback James. Now I think you should give us 25 runs with and 25 without on the same day for conclusive evidence! J/K but I know you'd do it!!

Well, we may have another car running this weekend that could get some concrete same day multiple passes day data for us as well.

Glad to hear feedback James, good or bad.

The B&G TCM is back in...after revision #1.

As stated before the "Feel stuff" of firmer shifting is great as it definitely snaps your head back.

I am hoping there will be a chance to hit the track this Saturday as seems to be a 50/50 chance at the moment.
