hmm i've been thinking of going a new route with my intake. im not sure i like the airbox that came with the ram air hood. looks constricted in there. what did you make it out of. do you think it would be better to ditch the air box in exchange for a regular intake, using the hole in the hood as airflow for the bay. do you use a venturi in the design? i'de like to rig one up that way. but i think that would require tubing after the throttle body.

I hadn't thought of the dual intake for quite some time.
Just wondering if the other intake tube uses the space of the windshield washer container. Mine has been rendered useless, so its loss would be no loss.

Since Randy posted a picture in this thread and Dan and Cam haven't I think we now have to change the name of posting with no pictures to a CamDan from a Randy.

Well the final cost will have to wait until I've found the right shop to bend the tubing for me. Right now, if I were hand fabricate each one myself, no one would buy them. It's not cost effective at all.

Well ya. I know that if and when this happens, it'll only be a matter of time before it's out of my hands.

Hey boss, I've read your question several times. I think I understand what your asking. But can we discuss this somewhere else??. Thanks.

It will require eliminating the container and I am looking for a solution. You may just and up having another fine quality billet piece from BT

    Well here ya go

The lower units will be fixed in place. There will be a coupler located in the engine bay just above the flange. That way for the guys that live in very rainy areas, they can remove the tubing and run their regular CAI if they so desire and you will not need to get into the fascia again except for regular filter cleaning.

Oh alright, here ya go. Now here is the basic system. What I won't show at this time is the Y adapter for the manifold. This system I built for my twin 65's. But basically, it's identical. I built these so that there is enough flex to allow lateral movement of the engine. I will provide proprietary TB adapters for either the 80mm or 90mm TB's respectively. These systems can be powder coated, painted or even chromed if you like. Cause your gonna get them unfinished . I have pretty much made up my mind not to provide a finish. That way I don't get into an issue later on.
