    720 hp blown 5.7 Hemi

In the new Engine Masters Mag. they build a blown 5.7. But before they put the blower on it they got 524 HP out of it. Hear is a shot of part of the build.

The crate engine had a baseline of 376 HP according to the article, way more than a stock 5.7 in our cars.

thats 31 hp more than a stock 5.7 in our cars.

They put long tube headers on (good for 15-25 hp) and a single-plane, short runner intake on (which gives a decent HP bump due to how it moves air).

Sounds like a pretty close comparison to me.... remember, they are on an engine dyno... so, no need to worry about driveline losses....

They were referencing the block, not the heads. (a stock 9.6 compression short block")

44 net HP gain for heads & headers.

That's about what I saw too.

13.860 to 13.405 W/the additional grip of the M&H drag radials.

Oh boy. That IS the GSM kit. Well, the mounting and such, dont know what else, other than I believe the GSM uses the Paxton. Hopefully there are followups.

With proper tuning/ bigger injectors the GSM blower wil make lots of safe power to a well built motor.

The only thing left from the original GS kit on Jerry's truck is the bracket. So ya, it makes good power.

All joking aside. Your right. But that isn't what they are selling now is it.
