First can this be done? Second should I go a stage cooler with my mods? Would there be any benefit or should I just stick with the stock plugs? My mods are listed below.
Mods: Jba shorties, catless mids, FLowmaster 44's, stock resos, MHP Catch can,MTCM,No-esp mod,Performance Electronics, Electronic Shift Kit, and the Inertia Motorsports Spartan Camshaft.

If your not paing a grip for them, I would go for it, you should be makeing close to the power level a stock SRT8 is makeing. SO if the cheap as factory, thought it was a step in the right directions, I would have to say yes... Your are running 93 oct right???

The stock 6.1L plugs are $10-11 per plug. You can easily do better on price by going with a less expensive copper core plug with a platinum tip (like Champion and Autolite). These plugs will be $2.50-3.00 per plug. Using the 6.1L engine as a guide, look up the corresponding replacement that's either a Champion or an Autolite. Personally, I've used Autolite copper core racing plugs and they've been flawless.

General rule of thumb is 1 step colder plug for every 100hp increase.....this is to help control detonation with the increase in cylinder pressure and heat of the new found power.....it's also nice going to the platinum(no more 30k plug changes).

    ^^Ditto.

Also, from what I've been able to find out, platinum will be on the cooler side of a heat range while iridium will be on the hotter side. A heat range is just that, a range.

That said, a platinum plug is cooler than an iridium plug within the same heat range.

I swapped out the platinum plugs in my SRT for the equivalent heat range coppers. Changing them isn't hard to do and they seem equal in performance so the price difference was the main factor when it came time to change them out the first time. The coppers are less than $2 per plug.

If you're ever at a point where you want a little more longevity (> 30K miles) out of the coppers, the Autolite copper core racing plugs with a platinum tip will do the trick with only a nominal increase in cost per plug.
