    5.7 heads/cams group thrash session

    Hey All,

I have spoken to a well known travelling Hemi mech who REALLY knows these cars and am looking to arrange a group cam/heads/ect install event over several days this coming spring. It would be near Springfield MO and be the second week of March...(edited to reflect new date)

Lots of folks have had him do work for them on both boards and he comes highly recommended.

Cost for a head/cam swap would be 1/2 or less of what you expect to pay at a shop and he's probably better than they are on our specific set ups.

Any interested parties please reply to this thread or PM me for more details.

We are looking for at least 3 more folks to commit to be here for it to be fair for him to come down and do it.

The more the merrier, I have an adequate place to do it, the tools, and have arranged for a very good EXPERIENCED Hemi wrench to come and play!

All you need to do is bring your car and some new parts for your motor.

    thanks

    Mark

i'm a dcx & ford certified tech , and i've had lots of both for experience . I'd love to come down and help for free along with whoever your talking about. I just dont think its in my budget right now for hotel, especially with ohio show coming up. I'm not an enternal motor guy but (unless its a neon) but i have suspension, electrical, advanced drivability, and electronic braking certifications with both dcx and ford. Heads and cams are not what i specialize in but i've probably been into more than the average at homer anywho's > I also have a dcx crank pulley tool.
Money right now is an issue though as my job may be laying off next month. I wont know til it happens and its only temp. if they do

Not sure if I can get a cam in time. Already have a few other things tying up $$$. If I was though, what about a cam install on a HEMI truck?
