    0-60 times!!

Last night I took my trucks superchips and plugged it into the charger and ran a few 0-60 runs with major traction issues. I got two good runs with no spinning but I rolled into the throttle so that I was wide open at 25 mph and the best was a 5.54 and next was a 5.63. Is that pretty good for a bone stock Sublime Daytona? What would I expect with a predator, intake and exhaust?

I had an AFE II intake, JBA Headers & Cats, SLP II exhaust, & Predator my best was 5.26.
I just finished my head & cam install & switched to Kooks Longtubes. I went out last night and ran a 4.46 this was without any real tune other than upping the fuel 10%. I will be getting it custom tuned here real soon to see what a real comparison will be.

Seems about right than. If I could just floor it from a stop I know it could do a 5.3 or so. Does anyone else have this bad of traction problems with a stock daytona?

Traction sucks with the stock tires. I found my best time was with ESP off, rolling the throttle on until the car gets going a little and then stabbing it.

When I still had SC, it seemed pretty consistent with what I ran at the track, so I trust the times. But since I don't have a Sc any more, I bought G-Tech, and like it so far. I did a review of it over at chargerforms http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/...04#post1061304

Mine is close to stock, I only have the Mopar CAI. My best 5.28, this was 3 months ago, haven't driven it since. Now I have a Predator, I'll give that a try now.

Traction? HA...I got 295/40/20s, and I cant get traction from a stop. Just to let you know, I took a ruler to the tires to see how wide they were, and it was wider than my 12 inch ruler...It was about 12.5 inches. Compared to my 7.6 inch wide stock daytona tires.

I just ran a 0-60 in my 2007 R/T last night and hit a new record of 5.20! I've got an Airiad CAI and I put an exhaust from a sublime on it.

I usually brake stand it to about 1200 RPMs, launch by jumping off the brake and rolling into the throttle going wide open at about 15-20 mph. I usually get a small amount of tire spin on the launch, but nothing too dramatic. This is on the stock conti's, and yes it was on a level piece of road.

Also, this is New England, so it was about 28 degrees when I did this last night. These cars seem to really like the cold weather.

Also, how many miles do you have on your car? Mine really seemed to perk up after 7,000-8,000 miles or so.

Good runs, Marc. Damn near close to SRT territory now.

My quickest without the Diablo was 5.45. I havent measured lately, as I have had no time. I do have a 13.6 quarter mile time at the track though, which feels good. Once I have headers, I am going to head back and try to rip off a 13.4 or 13.5. We shall see. I think I can run 5.1 0-60, if launched right.
