Will this stand-alone DVD unit fit...

Do you guys think this unit will fit in that little empty space underneath the stock radio in the SXT? Blaupunkt DVD ME-R: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=79835 I'm getting a good deal on that unit plus a 10.4" screen that when closed is 1 1/2 " thick, so it won't look too akward in the car.

What you can do is get an aftermaket HU, the standalone, metra adapter (in the following link) and a NAV bezel. If your HU has the input jack, you can even play through the stock radio or get one of them FM modulators. I dont think that it will fit in the pocket under the radio, too shallow and too thin.

That's a great setup you have, but waaay too expensive for me. $250 is what I'd have to pay for that DVD unit and 10.4" screen. Oh well.. kids will have to entertain themselves.

do a search for a half din dvd player!!! I came across a half din screen that fit right in(well a little dremmeling)
