Where do you get the New MyGig Nav/Radio

Where can I get the new MyGig Setup to change my 2006 Rec Nav setup on my 300 SRT-8 to this MyGig Set-up? If it's from a dealer, which is what I suppose, then are there any recommended dealers with the best price? I will also presume that I need the MyGig Plug and Play adapter as well.

lockpick adapter $300

plus youll need misc items such as gps antenna, uconnect mic, sat antenna and/or sat extension cable and youll need to think about what you will do for a bezel solution.

I would budget in the ballpark of $1250-$2000 for the project depending where you get your parts from.

Don't I have the gps antennae, uconnect mic, sat antennae already or do the old items not connect to the new MyGig? Also, the 2006 bezel doesn't work? This sounds like it's not worth it.

You will need a different GPS antenna than the one you have with your REC. The connections are different.

Your uconnect does not work with the mygig. Again, you will need to purchase all the parts from an 08 if you want it in the mirror, or you can get a mic from coastal for $20 to give you uconnect functionality.

The cabling on you SAT antenna will not reach the mygig as the sat receiver is in the mygig unit itself and not in the trunk like on you 06. You can purchase and extension cable to reach the front of the cabin, or pick up a new antenna to place under/on the dash.

The REC bezel is too big for the mygig. The regular non REC bezel is too small for the mygig. either way you will have to modify something to fit the new unit. even the 08 mygig bezel doesnt fit into your 06 without modification.

So, no, this isnt a cheap or simple swap, but if/when you do it youll quickly forget about the REC!

Ok I don't have uconnect in my vehical right now... but it has the ability too...

its got the 11 wires in the A piller... So I think all I need is the 08 Mirror and the harness and the telematic modual or does it get easyer then that?

Yeah... I kinda want the mirror... is there a possible set up an what would I need to have that new 08 mirror... my mirror is a POS lol
