Where are the 11 speakers located?

I saw that the SRT8's that have the Kicker system have 11 speakers versus 6 with the Boston Accoustics system in the RT.

Can someone show me where the 11 in the SRT8 are?

Counts the multiple drivers as separate speakers... 2-way 6x9's count as 2 speakers each according to them...

So basically there are 7 slots.

2 in the upper dash board
2 in each front door
2 under back window shelf
1 subwoofer in trunk?

do i have that right because i dont find 11 out of six slots with double drivers.

I believe they count each factory 6x9 as 2 speakers.

I dontthink thats right, I just bought a pair of tweeter sized kicker speakers from an SRT8, so Im trying to find out where to add them.

Im assuming they go under the front dash, so that why Im trying to get an SRT8 guy to list it out here.

So ok, SRT8 guys, someone want to edumacate us?

There are

3 - 3.5" Speakers in the Top dash...under 3 grates molded into the dash.

2- 6x9" speakers in the front doors

2 6x9" speakers in the rear deck

1 10" sub in the trunk.

So ok the difference between the RT Boston Package, is there are only TWO tweeters in the front dash?

All the speakers are quite a bit better than the boston system...and the amp is better....

I actually replaced all my speakers in my SRT. I have 4" boston acustics in the front dash. I put Infinity kappas in place of the 6x9's, and upgraded the subwoofer amp with a 8" in the middle of the rear seat...and a 10" in the rear deck....

Way better then the stock kicker.

Center dash speaker only in the 300.

Thanks for the advice. Ok let me ask you this for your opinion.

I now have 2 additional 3.5 Kicker SRT8 speakers. Where do you suggest I ADD them to the current Snd Grp 2 system I have in my R/T?

Anyway to tap them into the back speakers? Would love additional tweeter sound for the highs from the rear to offset the balance from the front.

Im a music lover but that covers alot of music NOT including RAP and Country, but all others.

Looking to achieve a symphonic hall environment and NOT tyring to make it so everyone ELSE can hear my music, Im selfish, like to hear it all for me in the car, not the others at the light. lol

Anyone else have advice too, would love to hear.

UMM NO on all accounts!!! lol

I dont want any boxes or crap taking up space or adding weight.

I got 2 tweeters I would like to simply work into the current system and put them in inconspicuous locations. I may drill into the underside of the back dash or something like that. But I am not adding no Rice-A-Roni boxes.
