    Whats needed to power my lamp

    Hi im installing an led lamp in my car that i thought took 12Vlts but didnt read the package and now i cant get it to power on. I was wondering if it says that it is 1.2mA max 110VAC, what will i need to get this to power up?

    110VAC??? You'll never get it to light up. But they're directional... flip it around and see if that makes it work. If it's a 12V LED, that should do it.

    if it's 110 vac its a house light. you need a power inverter. you can get them anywhere. they usually have a cigarette lighter type plug in to power them so depending on how you want to run the light and where you may need to clip that off and hook into a 12v tap. the important piece is to by an inverter that supplies enough Watts, though if it's just a light it shouldn't draw too much. good luck.
