That's because you have your 10.948. If you were sitting on 11.065, you might still be a little crazy too.

    (And don't forget that he's still running a 370)

I know it is a madness, but heh, it's what I like to do so why not. My "Thing" is lightweight NA (like budoboy) and I enjoy that angle. Even with all this weight removal, our cars are still considered heavy beasts on the strip and it is fun to watch people react when a good time goes up when one of these big cars run.

Thanks for the other comments; the driver is down 15+ lbs too, and well that racing in the nude thing, well let me just say it bugs me that most tracks make you wear long pants!

Congradulations on doing what you love. Also on losing a significant amount of weight 15 lbs is great as long as you did it healthy. Haters going to hate. I think people are suprised on how slow we are they assume our large displacement should stomp camaro's and mustangs because we're also a muscle car. They don't realize how much larger we are.

Get rid of all ur seats front and rear and replace them with a single kirkley racing seat. Tubular K frame, and lexan is next... now your talking some major weight savings.. Do it Do it!

No magnesium like the new Viper! (But actually I think a magnesium one is agains NHRA rules due to the fire hazard of that metal).

I wish I lived closer to you :-)

I'm thinking of putting my lithium ion battery up in the engine compartment so I can lose that giant hog of a positive battery cable that runs front to back. Got to weigh 10 lbs at least.

Pics tomorrow, but weight savings were a bit better than expected - came in at just under 10 1/2 lbs.
Thanks Fargo59 for helping me thread soooo many harnesses out of my car. (one example, may car appeared to have a trailer harness, even though SRTs are not rated to tow....)
