Ok.. since I slaved over this stuff in the Service Manual to figure out all the right wires, I figured I'd save everyone else some time...
Viper_LX-Wiring.xls -- MS Excel Format
Also these notes:
Code:
4 Wires through the firewall:
H1 Pin 3 : Brown -> (+) Siren Output
H1 Pin 11: White -> (-) Park Light output
H3 Pin 4 : Grey -> (-) Hood Pin Wire
H4 Pin 2 : Brown -> (-) Horn Output
Wires with Multiple Connections:
Heavy Guage inline connector Pin 1 : Purple -> (+) Starter output
XK-532 Pin 7 Pink
Ignition Switch Pin 4 Pink / DarkGreen
Heavy Guage inline connector Pin 5 : Pink -> (+) Primary Ignition output
Ignition Switch Pin 3 Pink / White
Relay 1 Pin 86
The Jumper Flash output polarity needs to be in the
(-) position to work properly.
The (-) 200 mA 2nd Status / Rear Defogger output needs
to be set for the Defog output by programming
the Viper system. This turns on the rear defogger when the
temp inside the vehicle is less than 50 degrees F upon remote start.
