VES + Pioneer head Unit: Take 2

I have the mod bug again since I am not going to sell my car. As some of you know last year my VES was lost by the post office in transit. I am in the market for one again. The catch is that I have switched from the stock head unit to a Pioneer 5900. I have a few question now about the integration.

How would I power the unit now that stock head unit is gone?

Is there anyway to splice into the AUX option on the Pioneer to make it play the VES through my speakers?

Do anybody have pics of an install?

You'll need "PAC AAI-CHY". That part will allow you to retain VES with the Pioneer system.

I just Googled that cable and this what I found.

Auxiliary Audio Input for Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles with Satellite or VES option.• Two AUX audio inputs.
    • Accessory +12 volt wire output.
    • Left and right signal adjustments for each input.
    • Plug and play.
    • Works with Navigation (REC), 6 Disc/MP3 (RAQ), 6 Disc/Cassette (RAK) and Single Disc (REF) model radios.
    • The model number is indicated on the front of the radios by the right knob.Note 1: If the vehicle has both Satellite and VES, one of the devices will have to be disconnected.
Note 2: If you are using a single disc radio (REF model), the factory SAT (if available) must be disconnected. This radio has no option for VES, therefore the AAI-CHY can not emulate it.

Compatible Vehicles (fitting the above requirements):
    2004-2007 Durango
2005-2007 300, Magnum, Dakota, Charger, Grand Cherokee, Commander
    2006-2007 Caliber, Ram, Mitsubishi Raider
2007 Compass, PT Cruiser, Aspen, Patriot
2008 Caliber, Compass, Patriot, PT Cruiser, RamLatest Revision: 1.4.14cInstructions: FAQs: AAI-CHY AAI-CHY

I am a lil confused because it is only talking about factory radios in the description. Can I just use this cable to plug up to the AUX option in my Pioneer radio? Then when I select it, the VES would it play through all the speakers? Last question, will this totally defeat the wireless head phones should I want to use those?

I spoke with the company that produces the PAC cable and they said that this cable is only for factory head units.
