converter boxes will work if the car is sitting 100% still like a house... once the car moves... the picture is gone..
I have not found a 12 volt digitial TV tuner that works yet...

i doubt it would sell well. most people play dvds on there screens. i never seen some one at a car show with the regular tv playing lol.

I just stream cable/satellite over cellular from my slingbox to my cell phone... there is a video out option for it.. looks pretty good and can stream from my PS3 as well. (yay unlimited data on a 3G connection)
Don't know about watching TV on the road though..Directv direct to the car would be cool.. but how much would ya use it...
