    Talking Thinking crazy thoughts...

Ok I have been thinking about a little change for my trunk...

Here is what I am thinking...

Removing the subwoofers, class A tube amps, and all the custom panels that were made and covered in vinyl.

Then replacing it with a 6th order subwoofer enclosure with 2) 12" IDQ woofers or 2) 12" Kicker Solo-Baric L7 Hypes. Yes I know that these types of boxes are not very good for everyday use but when they hit... they hit HARD!!! I would cut out the entire rear deck lid on the car and replace it with some custom panel with suede and mesh grill. As for everyday use, I have 8" Dynaudio woofers in the doors and they work great on the low end as well...

Then finding some, and here is where I want to go old school for the amps. I want to find some Orion 225 HCCA (1st gen) amps with the bridging modules... but this may be very hard to do. So I might have to go 2nd gen on the amps.... I was also thinking about using Orion 2100 HCCA or maybe old Soundstream 10.0 amps

So who wants to talk me out of this???

then bring back the fleck stone look...
    Thank you Bigal470

Are you going to get the car painted with big bass boat flake too to match the audio?
J/k...sounds like a good plan to me, but I know essentially nothing about car audio.

That Red Would Look Great On Your Car, I Think You Should Bolt Them To The Outside Of Your Deck Lid So Everyone Can See That Awesome Color. Haha.

I was a big fan of Orion until DEI bought them. I only used Orion amps and subs during the 10 years I competed. I just happen to have a red 225 sitting in my garage.
