Sprint PCS and (lack of) Bluetooth phones

Saw some questions on this, rumor has it that Sprint will introduce a new bluetooth phone in September. The LG LX325. I'll believe it when I see it though.

The Sony Ericsson T608 is available FROM Sprint via their online/phone sales. It is not sold in Sprint stores. It's their only bluetooth phone and it works good and supports everything including battery and signal strength. There is no static either. It's a shame there are not more options out there amongst the carriers.

It's the Motorola V710, I have it and it's not a bad phone. As cell phones go....

And Ive had the Sprint Sony Ericsson T608 bluetooth phone for about 3 months now... works great with U-Connect. You have to call them to get it though.

Wow!! I had read a lot of negatives about the T608, not in terms of U-connect, but regarding bluetooth compatibility with other products. Don't remember exactly what though.

BrilliantBlackHemi and Unholy, thanks for the info. That's all I needed to hear. Guess we'll start shopping. I know you can get them new on eBay, etc., as well.

Yeah as a phone goes... the menu system is a bit combersome... but the uconnect works excellent. In fact my phone just sits in the center console on the charger 24/7. It doesnt seem to have any problem connecting.
