    Speaker upgrade with a 77KICK18?

I'm looking at getting a 77KICK18 upgrade amp and was wondering for those that have done the same . . .
How many have left the rest of the stock BA system alone and how many found a need to upgrade the speakers to handle this amp?

Have the stock 6-piece BA speaker system (no sub).
Went from the stock amp (268watt, not sure what model number it is) to the 77KICK30AC 368watt digital amp.
I kept my speakers the way they were...was thinking of upgrading, but I found that just the amp upgrade itself was plenty for me.

really to utilize the amps full potential its important to find a 2ohm set of speakers so with that said either keep your BA speakers or upgrade to the kicker speakers. Most aftermarket speakers are 4ohm...

Yeah, I upgraded to this amp and after doing lots of research here it looks like you really need to upgrade to 2 ohm speakers to utilize the extra power it provides. The Mopar speakers were a little to much for me so I went for these on Amazon:

    Dash speaker upgrade
    Infinity Reference 3022cf 3.5-Inch Two-Way Loudspeaker

    Door and rear speakers upgrade
    Infinity Reference 9623i 6 x 9-Inch
