so since the car is at the shop getting fixed. I decided to fix my defunct Halos

this Past January when I has my power steering pump replaced the dealer managed to crack one of my AAC CCFL halo rings, so I have been halo-less since then..

figured since the car was in the shop I would do the LED rings I bought 6 months ago..

    out with the old:

    In with the new:

and since the car is being painted in Gloss Black, I repainted the lights so they are Flat Black.

before they were Gloss and the car was Flat so it was a good offset to the car paint, so I reversed it..

If the Halo is inside the housing, how in the world did they manage to crack it?

the CCFL rings are delicate, a harsh bounce or dropping the light will do it..

in this case they dropped something on the light, cause I have a mark on the lens in the same spot where the crack in the CCFL was.

That would make sense. What brand are the new ones? They look good.
