So I'm upgrading to the premium kicker speakers and the kicker 368 watt amp from the BA 6 speaker system currently in my 2006 Charger, ordered them from ALLUSA today. I have a 12" Fi Q in a ported box tuned to 30 hz powered off a MB Quart 1500 watt amp to complement the speakers. I've decided to keep the Mygig with lockpic I'm currently using. My question is, will the pac audio C2A-CHY amp add on module work on a mygig retrofitted into an 06 with a lockpic for my subwoofer amp? I did a search and couldn't get a definite answer.
Anybody?

crap..wish you would have gone a different way..
stock boston amp with the kicker upgrades..
use the sub line in the trunk from the boston sub [its a high level line] for your input for your sub amp.
quick install and that sub line in will be 46 watts input...at 4 volts
pull the rear deck out and pull the stock boston sub out...than cut the rear deck in the stock sub spot for a port tube to vent the trunk...
I'd be unstoppable if it wasnt for Physics & Law enforcement
when you install the kicker amp--the boston sub line is in the trunk and will be live..use that line..
its under the rear window beauty panel---had to reread your post..
any way that line will be now working as a sub channel into the kicker sub amp that boosts that signal for the kicker SRT sub....its plenty of signal for input of your new amp

I don't have the B.A. 7 system, I've got the 6 speaker setup without the separate sub.
when you plug in the kicker 368 amp-the boston sub line in the trunk will become live for the signal to the kicker sub amp that you wont be installing...instead you use that line for your input for your aftermarket amp...really simple.
the line is there even though you dont have the sub...when you remove the cloth panel in the trunk under the rear window the line is taped to the wire for the trunk light
Ahh, now I see, gotcha. So I use that RCA and hook it up to my sub amp directly. Will the eq bass control on the mygig control the bass on the sub amp also? I'm pretty sure the amp I'm getting comes with remote bass gain control, I just want to be see what options I have. Thanks for your help, beans to you my good friend![]()
well if your new amp has a high level line in thats its a direct hook up..
if not then use a line level converter and hook the rcas to it... and then your bass gain knob to control it..
like i said that line on the boston amp is 46 watts at 4 volts.
on the kicker amp that line is some where around 15 or 20 watts at 2 volts..still plenty for a input signal to the new amp...let me know if you run into a snag....
