    Sirius harness help needed!!!!

I bought a complete factory Sirius setup from a forum member for my 05 Maggie w/NAV and it arrived in Saturday's mail. I laid out the harness and removed all the items from the trunk to start with. I have NOT removed the NAV unit and ran the wiring as when I looked at the instructions for Magnum installation it only has one plug on the end that goes up to the NAV unit. It's a white plug with 7 wires total and the plug has a total of 16 pin holes. It measures about 13 1/2' ft long. The instructions show three loose wires that get plugged into the factory 10-way radio connector and a 22-way radio connector as well. I was told this unit came out of a 300 and was the same for Magnum. There is a p/n on the harness: p/n 05087104AE and the receiver p/n is 05064075AD. I called the dealer and they said the witing harness p/n I need is 5159035AA. Anyone have a take-off laying around they want to part with? Or a suggestion on how to make the one I have work? Thanks alot for the help! Jon

NOPE, I'm in Lower Alabama. That's EXACTLY the connector that's on the end of my harness. I do not have the VES option. How is yours hooked up? I have an early build 05 Magnum with NAV.

i cant quite remeber it has been a while since i plugged mine in but in the 300 you had two plugs going to the radio in my case the rec. one end plugged into the radio, and the one that plugged into the radio before got plugged into the other plug in the sirius wiring. HAHA i didnt follow all the directions either though. I zip tied half the wiring put the roof antenna under the center speaker grille and mounted the sirius box under the steering wheel right next to the OEM amp. I saw no sense in running the wiring to the back just to put the sirius tuner in the oem spot. I have a feeling the dealer is just telling you this because this isnt the exact specific one for your car. But all chryslers, dodges, jeeps use the same radios so it should be fine. Heck my whole sirius setup which i bought off ebay wiring and tuner were for a Jeep cherokee only, the whole thing was plug and play.

NOPE, Not yet. I'm waiting on an answer from the member I bought the setup from. Surely you and I aren't the only one with this harness. Perhaps someone will chime in who has an instruction sheet for the style we have for our 05 Mag application.

I have the EVIC also and want it all to work like a factory install. I don't know if the SE had a Sirius option?

As far as i know.. they don't. Its a plain base model. No EVIC either, but sometimes its better than RT coz i dont need to go to a dealer to reprogram. lol

i could be wrong and there could very well be another cable but why would the sirius harness have anything to do with ves? did you take your sirius rec or sirius 6 disc radio out and unplug the main plug from the radio plug in the sirius plug and plug the main plug into the other sirius plug. That was how my setup worked and i think the can bus and radios are all interchangeable in the lx platforms.. I do know not all the radios from the factory are sirius capable only one of the 6 discs and also the rec. But my wiring had a "Y" on one side with a female and male plug. and the other side simply plugged into sirius tuner.

Like i said my harness i received was one shown for a cherokee the one i needed according to MPSC had a different number which i thought for a minute the jeep one i bought would not work.
