Sirius antenna as a NAV antenna on a MyGig ?

They have the same connector...

They're both microwave satellite receivers...

And I even think the Sirius antenna can receive signal from more than one satellite at a time, which is, of course, the whole principal behind GPS.

So... will I be able to use a Sirius satellite radio antenna as a MyGig NAV antenna ???

I'm installing this week and am dying to find out if I might be able to save some bucks with the Sirius antenna from my old Starmate Replay's home kit.

It has already been confirmed by some LX'ers that I'll be able to use my Sirius Starmate Replay's car antenna with my MyGig.

Sorry for repeating this question (I asked twice in the big MyGig retro install thread but no responses)... I find it hard to believe that given the identical connectors, nobody's already tried this (perhaps by accident) before heading to the dealership to ask them to break apart a MyGig installation kit and pay big bucks for a Mopar NAV antenna.
