Satelite Radio worked for all of 5 days..

I just took delivery of a Magnum RT with the Sirius radio option. I call Sirius and moved the account FROM my old car to the Magnum. No problems here. It works great! It even sounded better that the nice unit I had added aftermarket in my BMW. Then, while driving during a rain storm, I loose signal. I thought that maybe the weather, as I've seen sat TV do that. The next day, the same thing and it was clear as a bell. I called Sirius and the recommend that I take it to the dealer (of course)

Has anoyonelse seen this? It sems like the antenna has become did connected.

You can CHECK to see if the antenna is disconnected. The reciever connects to the antenna at the left rear speaker.

If you remove the interior panels, you can CHECK it.
    Oh yeah...You know it does..........

You have to remove the very back piece of plastic, above the rear bumper on the inside.

Then you remove the left panel, the only thing tricky is you have to remove the seatbelt harness for the rear seat if you want to completely remove the left panel.

You could also remove the top piece of plastic, the headliner piece in the trunk. Look inside there and you should find the wiring harness to the antenna. It disconnects there, too.

BTW, the screws are just one piece of the puzzle, there are also "snaps" that lock in place, you just have to pull.
