    RER and IPOD

    Hi all. I've got an '09 300C with the RER nav/entertainment system. Today for the first time I used the cable that came with the car to connect my IPOD. I worked great! I can select artists, albums,etc., right from the touch screen on the RER. I was wondering however, is there any way to mimic the "shuffle" ability that the IPOD has? I would like tunes to be randomly chosen from the IPOD rather than having to listen to an entire album by the same artist. Thanks.

    How long did it take before the RER recognized your iPod. What's the capacity of your iPod? Is it the pt # 82211853?

    IPOD was recognized immediately. The Chrysler logo shows up on the IPOD screen. I use the 120GB IPOD classic.

    When your in Ipod mode hit the menu button then hit shuffle. At least that's how it works on my REN mygig with a Iphone.
