    REC to REJ Nav swop

    Hi there
    I have an O7 Dodge Magnum RT imported from the US here in the UK.
    The REC nav doesn't work here in Europe and I've been offered a UK spec REJ Alpine unit part No. 5091508AE - SX. Would this be a straight swop? I don't want to lose my uconnect or do anything to mess up the use of my rear seat VES unit.
    Please let me know.

    So long as you have the map disc for your region too (don't know how they're split up over there), then yes, should be plug-n-play.

    im wondering if you even need to change units...cant you just put in the Europe disc into you REC?

    id guess its a direct swap.. u wont loose any of the u-connect or ves connection. goodluck

    No.. UK disc doesn't work.
    I've just found out that someone on the 300c forum has worked out how to do an REC conversion to work in the UK so waiting for more details from him.
