    Please help

Ok, so I had a dead battery while my manifold was geting painted and after I charged the battery back up I tried to click the trunk latch button on fob and it won't work. Went and got spare key, still no good. Then hit trunk release button on dash and still no go. '

Another thing, on one fob the unlock and lock buttons work and when I hit the lock button it chirps. On my spare key the unlock button works but lock button doesn't chirp. Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

not everyone who looks can offer anything useful and so, may not want to post up something that would not be helpful. seeing as i work on these vehicles everyday and have never come across this issue, i doubt if it's something very common. please don't feel you have been wronged if no one has a solution worth posting. personally, i would have bumped my own thread to keep it from disappearing from the collective conciousness, so to speak. this thread was created on october 9th and probably slipped off the front page within an hour of posting. not many ever go beyond page 1 of new posts so chances are very few people saw your thread.

that being said, would you care to share your experience so that the next person looking for info on this concern won't feel snubbed when we can't help them either. thank you.
