Pioneer sponsors my Magnum as their 2005 demo car

I just got a note back FROM Pioneer this morning in response to an inquiry for sponsorship. They are considering making my 2005 Magnum their demo car for 05'. This will be great for Magnum owners, I will probably have tremendous thechnical resources at hand to help me layout the vehicle and we will document it every step of the way. More to come...watch this thread for updates.

Be Careful what you ask For.
If they truly "sponsor" you that will entail your car being at pretty much every event that Pioneer is affiliated with that includes small store shows corp. events etc that will last 1-3 days you will still have to make a car payment while they have your car and you will only get the equipment back in return. A normal sponsorship lasts maybe a year and when you do finally get your car back your equipment will ragged out and outdated by the new models.
More than likely you will not be able to be with your car most of the time they have and other people (company reps, store owners, etc..) will be driving your car doing who knows what.
Get it in writing and look at the small print.
    Thanks for the Avatar, Hazman

Go for the sponsor ..... I am sponsored by DEI. Generally the worst that comes of a sponsor ship is you have to go to a SHOW that you had no intenitons of making.... On the upside your not spending the 20k you would have pulled form your pocket to get the stereo you wanted anyway.

    20K for sterio equipment?!?!

Holy Cow! I like to go fast, and I can tell you I have never spent 20K on an engine! EVER!

If you take the sterio stuff out of my house and all 3 cars it doesn't add up to 20K. Does this sterio stuff do sexual favors?

LOL I've never spent 20 grand in stereo either, however what is going in my magnum will be around 20k worth of audio/video, security and instalation. I dropped the fiberglass enclosure off yesterday for body and paint work, I should have it back by friday. TV's will be in by mid october . All in time for sema.
