First off..Major Props to Mr Incredible. I would of been stuck without the help from him. I ended up pulling the plugs off the TCM thinking it was the amp but he got me all squared away.
Thanks again bro!![]()
Now on to my review for the PAC LC-2.....
This thing is awesome. I first used a regular Stinger LOC and it worked but I had to turn the bass down all the way on the navi while turning the gain all the way down on the amp for it to sound okay. Basically it worked but it sucked long and hairy donkey balls.
The LC-2 is a lot bigger than I expected (Length wise) but it was put together well. It has 6 wires coming out of it and two female rca jacks built into it. 4 wires are for the speaker splicing and 2 grounds if you need to eliminate any ground loop noise (Alt noise.)
Mr. I. directed me to which wires to splice and it was easy to run the RCA's back to the trunk so it was a very easy install. The most of the time was getting everything zip tied up right and out of the way. Always take your time with wires...Messy wires also sucks long and hairy donkey balls
After I got it wired up I turned on the deck while rapidly turning down the volume to prevent any spikes in the sub. To my surprise I turned up the volume and my cabin speakers got loud and the sub was still quiet. I started turning the knob on the LC-2 and voila. Instantly I wet my pantsIt sounds awesome!!! That was exactly what I needed. I started going through all my radio stations and tested a few CD's and it sounded great on all of them.
Thanks Mr. I. and Thanks Pac....You solved my problem
I'll post a picture of the LC-2 location tomorrow...Time to go ride and enjoy my sounds![]()
