Newbie MyGig Question???

Hey Gang,

I just purchased a 08 SXT Magnum and would really like to swap out the factory radio with a MyGig unit.

According to what I read I need a Low Bus unit for my 08?? Is this correct??

Also is it as simple as plug & play???

It should plug right in.You need the low speed or CAN B version.If you get the RER with navigation,you will need an antenna.If You have Uconnect,You will need a harness to get it to work with the RER,because the HFM is in the RER,it is seperate with any other radio including the REN that doesn't have nav

I thought you wanted a MyGig.The REC has different connectors,so it wouldnt plug in.I'm sure you can make it work

OK, now I am completely confused!!

What is the difference?? I thought a MyGig was the same as a REC???

The unit I have a line on is a OEM NAV from a 2007 300 SRT8.

REC is not a MyGig.The MyGig is RER or REN.They both have touch screens.RER has nav and REN does not
