That's what I was just thinking! The back fitment looks alright...but the front looks bad. I'd want these to fit seemlessly, like they came with the car.
    Take care,
    Christopher

It is better to give an opinion based on facts rather than emotion. To say the AON fit looks better is way off base. I am not going to talk bad about either box because to me they look about the same. I think the Bassform will look better once covered. Either way I think sxtowner's box looks the best of the 3.

This is what I will say about the system.
1: The specs are totaly wrong. It is impossible to get 1 cu. ft. in the cubby. .75 maybe possible, but the walls will be very thin.
2: The only way to get a 12 in the enclosure will require you to either remove the pannel at the bottom of the cubby or mount the speaker magnet out. That will cause you to loose cargo space and the ability to get to the spare and battery.

With all of that said I think it looks decent and be good for a set of 10s. Any body know the $$$.

I called the guy yesterday and he emailed me pics of the actual sub boxes he is selling. Looking on the web site I could see that those boxes are clearly for a 10 inch sub and not a twelve. He told me the 10 inch boxes are special order and are 600, the 12 incch boxes are 500. The pics he sent me of the 12 inch box look MUCH better than the ones on his website. Also they are gel coated and ready for paint. I tried to post the pic but it is to big and I do not know how to alter it. I can email it to someone who knows how to do such things and post it on here.

schexy1- the 1.0 cuft no doubt includes the air inside the whole enclosure, not just chunk that fits inside the cubby.

I was talking about the whole thing. The larger portion to the rear and the little part that extends towards the front is .86 cu. ft. empty. If you tried to make an enclosure by using the pannel and only covering the front, you won't have 1 cu. ft. A complete enclosure put in the space will probably net about .55 cu. ft.

The reason I know this is because I was trying to build a simular enclosure for a 12 that needed 1 cu. ft. I reversed molded the space and filled it with liquid and got a displacement of .86 cu. ft.

Thanks for the compliment on my box,I used the kb article that AON posted and ran with it. I built enough hot rods in my younger days so working with glass and filler comes easy for me.
