About LinkBacksI plan to sell my REC nav/changer unit within the next few days...I thought I read somewhere that there is a way to lock the internal parts, for shipping?
How is that done?

When we get new or reman units, there is a locking bracket installed through the holes on top of the radio. The removed bracket is installed on the old radio. Don't know of any being sold, try contacting United Radio. They are one of the companies that remans the Chrysler radios.

You may want to go to a dealer and see if they sell those or if you are friendly with your service writter... he can ask a guy in the back and see if they have any extra laying around...
also one quick tip... remove the disc first... some people think that it is ok to ship a radio with a CD in the unit. That is a major no no...Thank you Bigal470
