Has anyone made a successful back up of their NavTech DVD-ROM navigation disc? If so, what software did you use, what type media did you use (DVD+R DL brand), and what are the steps to do this successfully?
I'm unable to complete a successful DVD burn. My DVD combo drive has the proper firmware to burn DL discs. I've made three unsuccessful attempts with UltraISO and DVD Decrypter.
Any help would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly, Memorex +R/DL work the best using Alcohol120. There is a thread with steps on how to create the backup.

Are you sure your drive supports Dual Layer burning? If it is only a frimware issue, you should be able to update the firmware, but if the drive doesn't support DL burning you are going to need a new drive. Try here http://www.directron.com/dvdburner2.html, they have decent prices.
What is your souce disk? I ask this because if you are doing a direct copy it should work, but if your source is altered in any way then it a not go.

Don't use Memorex, only Verbatim. Experience talking here. And burn at the slowest speed possible.
