Navi + amp and sub hook-up

I was wondering if i took out my aftermarket radio and put my navi back in would the sound quality be the same when i hook everything back up to my amps and subs?(Im gonna use an eq also)

I want to us my Uconnect and i figured why not...its there lol.

Also when i used to use my Uconeect it sounded like everthing was static like...what does that come from?

Every stereo on the market, to some extent, 'colors' the sound... all the hundreds of components inside each have their own response characteristics to the signal amplitude and frequency... no two devices will sound exactly the same. hell, no two head units of the same model technically sound the same, due to tolerances in all the components (most resistors are +/- 5-10%). So basically, no, it won't sound identical, but unless your entire car is THX certified you won't hear much of a difference that an EQ can't correct.

Personally, as long as the stock unit doesn't suck (which the REC certainly doesn't) I'd use it.
