MyGIG is Dead! 2008 Charger 9.807

ok, this MyGiG is getting on my last nerve. I went out yesterday to my car and the myGIG is not working at all. I press everybutton (incl power) and nothing happens except the open/close button is the only thing that works. I get in this morning and still nothing. Anybody have an easy fix, dont want to go to the dealer....

    thanks!!!

I note that you have a LockPick on it. I've seen this happen occasionally with both versions of the CoastalETech product.

Keep the ignition off, go into wherever you've got the LockPick hidden, unplug the LockPick harness from the black box itself and reset(replug) the plug. This may or may not work, but as noted, I've seen it work before.

    Good Luck.

Good info, that is the first thing i will try. Do you know anything about disconnecting the neg batt cable? I read over at www.mofv.com forums that it may help also?

I second this! When all else has failed, resetting the lockpick has done the trick
