Magnum subs & amp, custom install (pics)

Just got my car back FROM the audio shop yesterday, thought I'd post some pics. Ignore how dirty my car is.....couldn't get it washed, hopfully later today.

Anyway, the subs are 2 kicker 10", with the kicker 600.1. Kept the other speakers factory, and the factory headunit. My overall goal was to keep as much space as i could in the cargo area, because I need it to haul my dj equipment.

The bass is INCREDIBLE, hard to believe it is only 2 10"s. However, I need to do something about the mids & highs, cause the bass drowns them out. I'll probably call the shop next week to see what they suggest.

    Here are some pics:

    Lemme know what ya'll think.

Any problems with lack of airflow for the amp to properly cool?

Nice install. The setup is simple and clean. And you have some pretty nice power in that setup.
If i only had a mag.....

You should make them fix the vinyl, does not look good, then make them wash it

wish I'd a put mine n the same place man. Great salvage of space.
Did they have to wrap the pillars or was that a creative call?
Seems like thats what makes the vinyl look less than smooth.
Do the subs phase each other out at all being faced toward one another?
They look like they are angled up enough not to.
Looks great, man and congrats on saving all that space.
Again, I wish I would have done the same.

I would have putt grill's over them so that nothing punctures them while hauling stuff around, if you are going to be putting stuff back there you should protect them.
And, I am not an audio expert (I am a video expert :>) but shouldn't there be some air holes in that box so they can breath?
...and I agree, that AMP might get a little toasty in there without any airflow.

I concur with VideoBob about the grilles, other than that I would say that it is very near PERFECT and it is oh-so sweet!

Looks good, but you should have the shop recover the passenger side one. Those areas where the wrinkles are are going to give you problems later.

    They might be sealed subs.

looks great but one thing I am wondering though is what are you going to do when one of your tail light bulbs goes? doesn't look like they are removable and you need to get to the access panel back there to remove the tail light assembly so you can change the bulbs.
