LX: Speakers in rear doors

How much space in the rear doors??

5.25 or 6.5"??

Rear door speakers would be cool. Woulda been nice if Mopar designed this in the LX line.

you will have to close in the door pocket. cant hang them in open back space.

There's not much metal in there to mount them to, I didn't pull the plastic seal but my guess is real fancy sheetmetal or a good chunk of custom fiberglass. You don't think that's overkill w/ the 6x9's?

Maybe if you found some junk front doors you could cut out the part where the plastic speaker jobber mounts and use that as a template or just weld it into a rear door? Maybe even graft front door panel parts onto your rear door panels?
