    Looking for an upgrade

I have a 05 sxt, with the 6 disk changer and i'd like to keep the stock head unit. I'd like to have a stereo that has more power with better sounding speakers. Is it possible to add an amp to the stock radio to give it more power? If so, whats a good amp and speaker set up? Is this something you can do yourself or should a stereo installer do the work? Thanks !

The SRT OEM Kicker upgrade would be nice. The entire system is plug and play. It consists of one amp 360 watts or so (easily mounts and plugs in under driver dash near hood release - no cutting or splicing) two dash 2.5" speakers (nice sound), two front driver/passenger speakers (bass) and two rear 6x9s. There are several sub options and your decision will probably be based around how much room you want to take up and cost. For the price the sub was NOT worth it! I returned mine and bought a self powered box.

So if you can use a phillips head screwdriver and plug a few connectors together you can definitely do it yourself! There is a "how to" on here somewhere...

Here are pics and price list of the speakers. Personally I would try to buy them off of someone used for much cheaper! http://www.autotrucktoys.com/dodge_m...ers-C3567.aspx
