Lockpick help

I decided to install my Lockpick today to get at least the front DVD working. Whenever the unit is plugged in my radio is inop. I get faint lines on the screen & the screen till tilt to eject/install a CD. If I unplug the Lockpick & re-connect the factory connections, the radio works.

What seems to be the problem? I followed the instructions (they are very vague) & tried it several times. I'm not bragging, but, I'm a recently retired ASE/Nissan/Infiniti master tech so I know my end was done right.

UPDATE

Dom from TV & NAV sent out a new unit. I installed it & I've got a working radio & video while driving. Now all I need to do is install my back up camera.
