Unhappy Light burned out on A/C Controls?

I was unsure what sub-ection to put this under so I figured since it was part of the main console, that it should go here.

So like the title states, I think I have a burned out bulb on the A/C Controls. I have the single climate control, not dual. The left side lights up just fine (air speed, A/C button and 1/2 the temp gauge), the right is not lit up. It's hard to find the defogger button in the dark and see where my air is being directed out.

Does anyone know if this is simply a bulb/LED that is burned out back there or just a loose connection? The knobs function correctly so I am leaning towards a bulb. Where abouts in the control box is the bulb, and is it replaceable?

I am very familiar with removing the cover and getting to all the stuff behind it so long as I know what I am going after/looking for.

    Thanks!
    -Patrick

The bulb is most likely and they are not the most friendly to replace as they are soldiered into the board..

Some have changed the lights and even changed the colours though so if yer a steady hand then it's an option..

You'll probably have to get a new HVAC control unit as Zoban said these aren't meant to be replaced if you really want to have the lights back.

Before going that far I would pull the bezel off and reseat the connector to make sure they didn't slip loose.

Common problem. Happened to me. Good thing it was still under warranty.

They can be replaced if you can solder. They can also be converted to led. Not exactly easy but not impossible. I'm 2/3 done doing my whole car, others have also done it. How much work do you sant to put in to save $90?

Well i took the car in today for other stuff and had them check if it was under warranty, and it was... I go to cash out and they tell me $133. Apparently even thought it was covered by the warranty, I still had to pay a $100 deductible... Jeez... I should have just bought it myself and swapped it out. Live and learn... Of course the new one looks a little out of place too because it has the silver edges to the knobs while the REC is all matte finish... oh well...

Half of my lights are out on HVAC panel. Went to dodgeparts.com website. 2 units listed w or w/o atc. What is atc?

I also had gauges freak out and go to zero today - twice. Went back to normal after restarting car. Wonder if they are related? hmmm....
