    Kicker subwoofer problems

I have a 09 Challenger SRT8 it came with the in dash six disc changer but I removed that head unit and put in a mygig. I had the mygig in my SRT8 Charger before I traded it in, so far it's worked with no problems. The sound system was always ok in my challenger but I decided I wanted to upgrade to all kicker instead of the Boston acoustic setup. I bought a Kicker subwoofer setup off the Charger forum and installed it today. It was a very straight forward install I was done in 20 minutes. The problem I'm having is with the subwoofer no sound of any kind from it. The amp has power the green light is on I went thru and tested the wires with a test lamp looking for a break in one of them they are all good. I disconnected the battery for 20 minutes I hoped that would help. I checked all of the fuses. What gives? I don't know what else it could be. I have been trying to get this thing to work all day and I'm all out of ideas. Help me please.

I am going to assume that you are referring to the factory Kicker setup.

Did you get the harness with it?

What all wires are running to the sub?

Did the car originally have the Kicker sub or did you add the Kicker harness?

I am just wondering how its hooked up now. You said the amp is powering up, but no sound. So that tells me you are either not getting a signal to the amp, or the amp is not sending output to the sub.

The car didn't come with the sub. I added the sub with the wiring harness and amp. I'm thinking a bad amp maybe
