Just installed VES (rear DVD) and have questions......

Seems like the Mopar OEM VES unit is set up to play Widescreen DVD's. So far when my kid is playing a Widescreen DVD the full LCD screen is utilized, however when he is playing a Full Screen formated DVD the image is smaller and does not utilize the full width of the LCD screen. Is there a way to get full use of the LCD screen when playing a Full Screen formated DVD?

    Thanks.

I like the factory look and I know there are better deals, but heal I bought a $43,000 car what's another grand or more for a OEM VES system. I also only have one child and don't plan on having any more so the one screen suits my needs.

I still need help with changing the aspect ratio on my factory VES. VES Menu will not let me change from 16:9 (widescreen) to 4:3 (standard). I can see the option for 4:3, but cannot change. Most of my DVD's are 4:3 (standard) Full Screen.

    Thanks.

I can find the setting through the set up menu, but it will not allow me to change it. My aspect ratio is set for widescreen 16:9 ratio and I would like to change it to the standard fullscreen 4:3 ratio. I can see the option for 4:3. The 16:9 has red arrows on the left and right as do other options on the set up menu. The difference is that the other menu items also are highlighted in blue. When you hit enter the blue color changes to yellow and you can change the settings. On my system the aspect ratio does not highlight in blue. The screen is small to begin with so it would be nice to utilize the full screen format. Thanks to anyone who can help!

OK, found the instructions and found the setup menu.
Mine shows 16:9 and I can't change the option to 4:3....it just stays on 16:9.
Very strange output with Armaggedon widescreen DVD as it seems to be letterbox and 4:3 as it's just a smaller, framed picture.
Anyone know what the country codes are? Not listed in the manual.
