How to stop HIDs from flickering?

My driver said HID light bulb flickers when i has half voltage (Such as unlocking the door before starting the car). Once I start the car up it goes away, but in order to get it to stop flickering I have to turn it off, then back on again. I have a in line capacitor, and relay set up to the battery. Ideas?

Were is it grounded to-or you have weak contact points in your relay-or a lazy relay

Do you have daytime running lights? If so then your daytime running lights are half voltage on your highbeams. So what you would have to do is put a 10ohm Wirewound Resistor from the ground of your highbeam to the wire that shows 12 volts when your highbeams are on. That should work
