    help me please?

this might be a dumb question but i am trying to put some music on a cd using wma from windows media player and i am putting like 7 cd's on it so lke 130 songs. anyway, how do i put them in folders cus i have made to attempts now and when i put it in cd player they just play straight through and if i try to change folder it wont do it. its like it is all in one folder. i want to put each cd in a folder so i can go directly to what i want. HOW DO I DO THIS I CANT FIGURE IT OUT. when i try to change folder on reciever it just goes right back to first song on cd.

Hum, good question. I believe most audio CD's are flat so to speak, their not in folders (directories), the files are all stored under the root.

I haven't played w/this but will look into this if there isn't an answer posted. Maybe there's some midi fans out there that can help.

Does your cd player support mp3s if it does use Nero burning program or whatever you have then select create a data disc then name your folders drag and drop your songs then burn. If its just a standard cd player you are s.o.l
    Hope this helps

Put them in folders on your PC, then drag the entire folder into nero.

WMA and MP3 discs are data CDs with regular folder hierarchies.

Rip the CDs to WMA or MP3 with Media Player, then collect the files and organize them by folder. Use Roxio or Nero or whatever else burining software you have. It's easier than Windows Media Player.
You could also switch your media software to iTunes for Windows (it's free). It's a natural for jobs like you want to do. Just rip the CD to iTunes, organize the songs by playlist and burn.

You should really get a Mac. It is just so much easier to do things like this.

Windows XP has built in burning software. Put the mp3s in folders and name the folders appropriately. Right click the folder and use the “send to” option and choose the CD burner drive appropriate for you computer. After all the folders you desire to burn are sent to the burner drive go to “my computer” open the CD burner drive and on the left panel choose “write these files to CD”. From there follow on screen instructions.
