    Harness for upgrading sound system

There is a Metra harness for the magnum part# 70-6504 it has a plug for the radio and two more for the factory amp and ample wire to go fro the amp to the radio opening. even comes with a wire and tap for the acc. connection. works really well.
Just thought you might like to know. :D

More than likely the harness will work but the factory nav system will probably have a few more plugs attached to it that will not be used in a stereo upgrade which is what this harness is for, unless you are trying to add an aftermarket amp to a fac nav system in that case this harness would come in handy. :D

I thought this thread might be an appropiate place for this information as well.

If you want to use an Aux audio input with one of the factory radios, it looks like your only choice at the moment is to use an FM modulator. You can get one of these just about anywhere (try google), but you will probably also need these antenna adapter cables:
I don't know whether you'll need both or just one of them, but once I finally get my Magnum, I'll be doing this mod in ORDER to use my iPod, and I will try to do a How-To if no one else has by then.

Does this harness have a line level converter on it?
I'm assuming that it is just a harness and we're on our own for line level conversion or the use of amplifiers with high level inputs. Any info?

    Thanks
    Henry

The harness will allow you to install equipment without cutting the factory wiring.
it does not include a level converter. CHECK here for a good high quality converterwww.davidnavone.com
