Got rid of my audio bahn flame Q's for somthing a little lighter

Attachment 15078 Ok so I just put my new set up into the charger... I did have one of those "cutom made sealed incloseurs" and it fit nice.. but ... I wanted somthing that didn't make my lights go completely dim when they hit.. so here is the new setup.. a kenwood 2Kw digital amp with Alpine Type R 12's Ive got the new box setting ontop of those pesky raised humps near the wheel well which leaves just enough room for the amp to push up underneith the box... anybody have any suggestions as far as how to clean it up a little bit?? also ... I have a freeking rag packed between the deck lid and the rear window due to it rattling obnoxiously when it basses... any help on that would be good.. thanks

I took out that pesky plastic hand-hold that's there for you to shut your trunk without getting fingerprints on it. That reduced 75% of my rattling, and I'm running a system almost as good as yours but I run it really hard. Past that, I haven't done anything. Deaden the license plate if it's rattling. Put some sort of weatherstripping or stick-on padding between the deck lid and the rear window. If you want to go all out, dynamat the whole trunk.

    Sources I've found of rattling:
    Plastic hand-hold (remove)
    Trunk and rear window (deaden)
Trunk body and trunk sheet metal (remove sheet metal, deaden part where it contacts body, replace)
    License plate (deaden)
