    Gauges Finally Installed!

For now, I am monitoring Wideband Air/Fuel, Power Steering Temp, Trans temp, Knock Sensor, P-Ratio and Manifold Pressure....

You would think being able to show 6 different items at once would be enough, but I find the hardest part is actually determining what to monitor... Oh, too many options (Close to 80 depending on vehicle year)!!!!

Still not 100% sold on the A-Pillar gauge mount but did not find any alternatives that I liked so I gave in.

I went with 3 different colors for the warning lights so that I can program each gauge to a different paremeter. Now I immediately know what is wrong or what is happening based on the color of the lit LEDs without having to try to look over at the gauges....

I decided on the silver gauge faces, hoping to match the new gauge overlay I also got in....

If I havent said it recently, I LOVE AEROFORCE GAUGES!!!!

Hope to get time to play with the 0-60 and 1/4 mile features soon...

How do you get all the gauges to read when there is only one odbII plug?
How hard is the installation? Where did you get your a pillar from?

You specify when you order the gauges if you are going to be running 1, 2 or 3 gauges and they will supply a single plug with the correct number of outputs....

Installation is a breeze, just plug in the OBDII port and install the pod. Wideband does not come across the OBDII so if you want that it is a little more difficult to install as you need a WideBand system first and have to connect it to a gauge seperately.

The pillar was bought from HHP.

Yep, up to 80 depending on year (Mine shows a few more than 60 I beleive). Some Parameters are related, like O2 sensor 1, O2 Sensor 2, so keep that in mind. I think the Manufacturer lists about 45 or so completely unique items...

I bought mine direct from the manufacturer...

    Aeroforce scan gauge group buy

But looks like a few of our supporting vendors also carry these...

AeroForce Technology Gauges Now at Speedlogix!

New Product- Aeroforce Scan Gauges now on Sale!

Looks like going price is about $230 for one or about $400 for a dual set (call Aeroforce for a triple). But that will also vary depending on what color background you want and what color Warning LEDs you want. They have MANY options on all of those...

Depends on what you want to do... These gauges do NOT have the ability to data log to a computer. You can record a run on the gauge and play it back on the gauge but it does not output to a computer. The Dashhawk will....

These offer a few more parameters than the dashawk, such as the Yaw and braking info, is that necesarily needed, no, but it is fun to play with... Also, not sure how easy it is to get Wideband info on the Dashawk, I had heard that module was still in development. I could be wrong there though, but I do know it is easy to add sensors to these, including wide band info as I have done.

I personally prefer these due to the look, they are standard gauge size so it was easy to integrate them into the look of the car, the Dashawk, not so much.

Also, if you have a Diablo you can use that for data logging to a PC, so I figured I did not need that feature in the gauges.
