I am adding one to my radio bezel and using a clarion eq. Is it true music can only be outputed thru the pin outlet to the EQ and not out of the head phone jack up top? I ask because I am wondering how I will be able to keep the tablet charged up. Thanks in advance for yuour help

Yes you cant use the 30 pin dock for music and video output, i gess the you use the 7" galaxy tab they sell a media dock station. bestbuy any other store the sell the galx tab will have the dock

Yes, I know I can use the 30 pin for music. I was wondering how can I also have it charging if I am using a Clarion EQ for processing. I have a 30 pin with RCA jacks on the end and that goes to the EQ. That alone will not charge the tablet. Does anyone have any ideas or is it even possible that I can also have it charging at the same time?

I cant copy the link, but I saw the a 30 pin out to rca and USB in best buy. Model 3879102. The amazon link I was given says it was for the P1000 model but this one doesnt say anything about which one it works for.

What carrion eq? What options do it have for audio input on it? If it has a 3.5mm jack, I used this from amazon.com

I used a full head unit though.

I do not have a head unit at all. Just used a Clarion Eq. It only has RCA Inputs. I see what you posted and it says for P1000 but the 8.9 is not the P1000. What the other member recomended I am just going to purchase that. The RCA outputs will go to the Clarion and the USB will go to a car charger.

Any ideas on what I should do to the top clip area so it grabs the holes again? I think from installing and uninstalling the bezel, it something got worn out. Was thinking maybe adding so form of puddy to make the hole a little smaller.

Yeah if you figure that out let me know. I have the same problem but I just bent my clips so it would catch the top better. Mine doesn't ever move but I would like it to be more secure.

I am thinking epoxy a piece of metal there. I dunno...
