Finally finished the Nav install, well almost...
The reason I say almost is that I used a bit too much hardener on the left side and got a small crack from the bezel flexing during the reinstall. When I start work on my next project I'll repair it. Hopefully I wont have to strip it all the way down.
I built my own mounting brackets for the install. Then I opened my stock non-nav bezel up about 1/4" and filled in the "ears". Not hard, but time consuming since I only had 30-45 min stretches here and there to work on it. No, I didn't take any pictures along the way. Forgot about it until I was about 4 days in...figured there was no point at that stage.
For anyone who is interested, it's a Pioneer AVIC F90BT.
(I'll take better pictures later, had no luck avoiding the sun glare)

It's the newest model. I believe it was released in mid/late July. Built in bluetooth, HD radio compatible (just look at the top left hand corner of the screen), flash based nav (no more discs!), sd card slot, built in iPod control, pretty much the whole 9 yds.
