Whats everyones favorite subwoofer choice???

JL Audio is my choice...have 12W1v2 now...but have had 10W6v2 in previous vehicles.

I would say JL W7s, 1 sub I would go with a 13.5... if 2 I would go with 12s

cant go wrong with JL. of course Image dynamics is great as well as some of these smaller/newer brands (im old school).

Ive had:
Aura Force 12 (great subs, dont think they are around anymore)
Treo SS 12 (great sub as well, more SPL and it killed all others at that)
JL 10w6v2 (very good all around sub)
JL 12w6v1 (current sub, cant find a cleaner sounding setup)

I have a JLW3v3-4, and an MTX 5500 series 12". The MTX sounds way better.

I know huh. I was going to say a #9 no cheese. I've got a 10w7 in my trunk right now, but by no means is that the best sub. The w6 I actually like a lot better. The critical mass u12 is the best I have ever heard.

Why do you like the w6 over the w7 ???

The w6 is a better sq sub. Any installer will tell you that, then ask you what the hell you are using jl stuff for anyways. The w7 is nice I just like the w6 because it is more of an sq sub. w7 is great for setting off car alarms, or spl.
